APsaA's Task Force on Psychotherapy works toward creating a home for psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychotherapists within the Association. This includes expanding the work begun by the Psychotherapist Associates in creating vital roles for "psychoanalytic psychotherapists" throughout APsaA.
The E-newsletter is designed as an outreach tool to assist with creating this home. The E-newsletter is published 4-6 times per year and contains topics that are important to psychotherapists including:
- Task Force updates
- Overview of scientific programs that are of particular interest to psychotherapists
- Reviews of APsaA's January and June Scientific Programs
- Reviews of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Books
- Educational Issues and teaching tools
