2015-2016 APsaA Fellowship Application Now Available

The APsaA Fellowship is part of an initiative to provide outstanding early-career psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and academics -- the future educators and leaders in their fields -- additional knowledge of psychoanalysis.

Fellowship recipients receive a psychoanalyst mentor with whom they meet to discuss their interest in psychoanalysis, a free subscription to TAP, the APsaA magazine, and complimentary registration at the biannual meetings of the Association.

The American Psychoanalytic Association fellowship program seeks to encourage interest and involvement in psychoanalysis among early-career psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and academics. Fellowship winners will be awarded travel, lodging and registration fees for APsaA’s 2016 National Meeting and the 105th Annual Meeting, subscriptions to TAP and other journals, access to a mentor, invitations to participate in scientific programs and support from local institutes. Competitive applicants will have a curiosity about how the mind works and an interest in how psychoanalytic ideas are pertinent to their discipline and field of interest. The application deadline is Monday, February 9, 2015.
